We are a closly knit group of friends who gather to listen to music. Music lovers since birth and friends since we've met, we meet regularly to listen, dine, play, and carry on as we always have. We are children of the sixties and seventies... raised on Rock and Roll, Rhythm and Blues, Progressive Rock, Jazz, Fusion, and an appreciation for all forms of music throughout the generations before. We saw Elvis and The Beatles on Ed Sullivan. We witnessed first hand the British Invasion. We were alive during the evolution of Rock and Roll. We listened to Big Band music and Jazz with our parents. We were constantly exposed to some of the best music ever written and performed.
We play pinball, race HO cars, play various board games, and rip each other at every opportunity.
TO WHAT WE LISTEN
We enjoy listening to everything from Acoustic to Zydeco, with a lot of stuff in between that includes but is not limited to: Alternative, Ambient, Americana, Big Band, Bluegrass, Blues, Bossa Nova, Broadway, Cajun, Celtic, Choral, Christian, Classical, Country (and Western), Disco, Dubstep, EDM, Flamenco, Folk, Funk, Gospel, Grunge, Fusion, Jazz, Latin, Mambo, Mariachi, Metal, Motown, Musicals, New Age and Ega Wen, New Wave, Opera, Pop, Punk, Rhythm and Blues, Reggae, Rock and Roll, Salsa, Samba, Ska, Soul, Swing, Waltz, Western Swing...
The majority of the music that we listen to is played via Amazon Music Unlimited and YouTube. We also have the audio capabilities to play CDs, DAT, vinyl, 78s, casette tapes, and eight track tapes. In the near future we will also be able to play reel to reel tapes. We can also play the following video formats: Blue Ray, DVD, Laserdisc, VHS, Beta, and 8mm tapes.
The pinball machine that we play is Mustang, which was manufactured by Gottlieb in May of 1977. Click here for more information on Mustang.
We play a variety of board games and card games.
WHAT WE EAT
The food we consume is produced or procured by one of our associates; mostly we dine on gourmet quality food prepared in house by our chefs. Anything and everything, with few exceptions. Each of us can get by in the kitchen. Some of us are far above the others in the food preperation and presentation, but we all have a dish that we can prepare and is delicious.
